Beyonce has released her eighth solo studio solo album, entitled ‘Cowboy Carter‘!
The album is quickly creating waves as the album catapults Beyonce deep into a genre that she has previously only dipped her toes in, Country. However this album isn’t a “Country album, it’s a Beyonce album“.
The album returns to the origins of Country music but offers a fresh, updated spin with genres born from it. With features from the likes of Country legends like Dolly Parton, Linda Martell, and Willie Nelson, she also works with known names like Miley Cyrus and Post Malone. However, Beyonce wouldn’t be BEYONCE if she didn’t open doors for those following her, bringing along up and coming black Country artists Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Shaboozey, and Willie Jones. One of the more unexpected features on the album comes from Beyonce’s own daughter, Rumi Carter.
The album showcases 27 perfectly crafted tracks that lasts 1 hour and 18 minutes, however the journey through the music doesn’t is so vivid that it doesn’t feel that long.
