Sia has a new album coming out in January, This Is Acting, which entirely features songs she originally wrote for other A-listers, but were ultimately rejected. She spoke to Rolling Stone about the process of recycling could-be hit songs for other people into an entire album for herself, and what working with people like Rihanna, Kanye, Katy Perry, Adele and Beyonce is like from her own refreshingly humble perspective.

“Not true of artists like Beyonce, with whom Sia says collaborating is “like a writing camp” and that “she’s very Frankenstein when she comes to the songs,” taking bits and pieces from various songwriters and asking to hear them mixed together. “In the end, she had maybe 25 songs of mine on hold, and I was very excited to get a couple of them back. Definitely one is on the album.”

But no, that’s not it, Kelly Rowland was there too! The night before, Bey and Jay reportedly hit up Planet Hollywood to see Britney Spears at her Piece of Me residency show. You never know what your going to get when your waiting for the Queen. Most of the world waited and watched as Tidal celebrated the success of their app that launched earlier this year. We waited in anticipation, thinking we would get a shortened version of Beyonce’s recent setlist that she performed twice last month. But when Beyonce took the stage, she taught us a new lesson….she can steal the show in 10 minutes.

Not performing any of her own songs, Beyonce took the stage for a long awaited performance of her duet with Nicki Minaj on, Feeling Myself. After that, Nicki left the stage, and Bey opened Jay’s second set, as she sang the chorus of, Holy Grail, a verse originally sang by Justin Timberlake on Jay’s album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Beyonce & Jay Z were spotted in New York City, enjoying a date night, and having dinner in the Meatpacking District, as Del Posto.

Beyoncé performed at the Global Citizen Festival to end extreme poverty by 2030 in Central Park in New York City on Saturday (September 26).

She performed a a smaller and cleaner variation of the show that she premiered a few weeks ago at Made In America Music Festival. She cut a couple songs to make the set a little shorter, and also brought out surprise guest, Ed Sheeran, for an acoustic rendition of her Grammy Award winning song, Drunk In Love.

This set included fewer costume changes, but many are also say she brought a little more energy. After her set, Bey did one final wardrobe change, then she took the stage again to perform “Redemption Song” with Pearl Jam. Check out the video, photos, and setlist below!
