The “Beyonce” cut is the latest hit fueled by choreographers’ popular online videos.

Two months after Beyoncé dropped her surprise self-titled album, it’s still shaking up the music industry. Two weeks ago, album cut “Partition” reached No. 49 on the Streaming Songs chart with over 1.4 million streams in the U.S, despite the fact that the video (available for purchase with the album) isn’t on Youtube or Vevo, and the audio isn’t available on Spotify, Pandora and other similar services. How is this possible? User-generated Youtube videos, driven by a vibrant community of choreographed dance crews shaking it to the song on camera.

The “Partition” phenomenon is in some ways similar to “Harlem Shake,” the viral, dorm-room dance meme which took Brooklyn DJ-producer Baauer straight to the top of the Hot 100 the week of Feb. 23 thanks to millions of YouTube clicks. However, unlike with “Harlem Shake,” many of the most popular dance videos featuring “Partition” are created by professional choreographers, like Kyle Hanagami, who was inspired by the dance-heavy videos Beyonce included with her album.

If there were a supermodel of the moment, Joan Smalls would certainly be it. She’s the face of Estée Lauder, ranked no. 1 on Models.com and currently holds the no. 8 spot on Forbes’ list of top-earning catwalkers. On top of this, she is also the star of countless editorials and campaigns (currently iCB and Fendi). Not to mention she just snagged Elle‘s January cover, which was considered something of a feat because, well, it’s not often a model — as opposed to a Hollywood starlet du jour — is on the cover of an American magazine.

Lucky for Fashionista, the stunning Smalls sat down for a pre-fashion week chat at the Modellounge x Microsoft space (which, not coincidentally, is the brainchild of her boyfriend, Bernard Smith). Afterward, she was set to hop on a plane to Canada for a quick two-day shoot before returning to New York for runway duty. (Just thinking about her schedule makes us lose our breath!) Wow! Incredible. That woman is someone you can look up to. She’s so professional — so well-rounded and grounded. It just goes to show you that being nice in an industry pays off. She’s so involved when she talks to somebody — and encouraging — so I admire that quality in her. She’s really, really talented, so it’s nice that I have that off my checklist. It’s like Beyoncé video — check!

The Billboard Hot 100 is officially “Drunk in Love.”

Fueled by significant gains in streams, on-demand plays and digital sales, the Beyonce single (which features husband Jay-Z) catapults eleven places to number two on the definitive weekly singles chart. Only Katy Perry’s smash “Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J),” which began its reign atop the chart last week, ranks higher.

In reaching number two, “Drunk” becomes Beyonce’s biggest hit since “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Best known for its iconic video (and Kanye West’s fondness for the video), “Ladies” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 2008.

Since then, only 2009′s “Halo” (#5) and “Sweet Dreams” (#10) and 2010′s “Telephone” (the Lady Gaga track on which Beyonce was featured, #3) have even reached the top ten.

The rise of “Drunk in Love” sends Pitbull’s “Timber (featuring Ke$ha)” down to number three. Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty” ascends to #4, while OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” slips to 5.

Passenger’s “Let Her Go” returns to its #6 peak, while A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera’s “Say Something” settles for #7.

Positioned at number eight, Pharrell’s “Happy” leads Lorde’s pair of “Royals” (#9) and “Team” (#10).

Jay-Z and Beyonce performed onstage last night at DirecTV Super Saturday Night. “All hail to the queen!” Jay Z told the crowd at New York’s Pier 40 stadium. As if we needed to be told. There were whispers before the DirecTV Super Bowl party got going that Jay Z’s wife might make a surprise entrance. And it happened.

Beyonce is making Super Bowl weekend performances something of a habit. A year after performing for the big game at the Superdome in New Orleans, Beyonce performed for a smaller crowd as a  surprise cameo on the eve of the Super Bowl.

Dressed in a slinky black lace dress, Beyonce sang her hit “Drunk In Love,” which, of course, her superstar husband guest stars on. As he rapped, she danced in his face, and when the smoldering song ended, the two embraced, and shared a kiss.

Get ready for another vegan trend that everyone is going to copy! Beyonce has started a second vegan challenge and we want in! Ahead of her husband Jay Z’s 44th birthday, Beyonce began a 22 day vegan stint. It certainly seemed to work based on her smoking body at the Grammys, were she showed her butt and danced all up on her man.

Anyway, she’s back for round two. Judging from her latest Instagram post, she’s embarking on another 22-day challenge of eating no meat or animal products whatsoever! She just shared a snap of her healthy snack—a peanut butter and chocolate chip flavored vegan protein bar cut up with sliced bananas on top. Bey captioned the shot of her no-gluten, no-soy, no-dairy snack simply, “#22daysvegan.“ It’s safe to assume this is vegan stint no. 2 and not a throwback to the first one. What foodie would post an old throwback food pic. So why 22 days? Jay previously explained on his blog that “psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you’ve found the way.”
