The First Lady was recently asked by People magazine who would she be if she had to be someone else. Michelle said: “I’d be Beyoncé.” Considering the pop star once penned an open letter of admiration for the First Lady, it’s safe to say the feeling is mutual.

Meanwhile, President Obama voiced his approval of Beyonce’s husband in a Atlantic article. Asked whether he prefers Kanye West or Jay-Z — the longtime collaborators headlined the Grammy-winning album “Watch the Throne” last year — the president smiled and answered “Jay-Z.”

The Bee Gees were an early inspiration for me, Kelly and Michelle. We loved their songwriting and beautiful harmonies. Recording their classic song, “Emotion,” was a special time for Destiny’s Child. Sadly we lost Robin Gibb this week. My heart goes out to his brother Barry and the rest of his family.

Love,
B

Robin Gibb died on 20 May 2012, at the age of 62 from colorectal cancer. Destiny’s Child hit “Emotions” was orginally written by Bee Gees.

Beyonce is not stoping! Following previous fragrances Heat and Heat Rush, Beyoncé has launched a third fragrance in the Heat series – Midnight Heat.

The Pop diva Beyonce launched her first perfume Heat in 2010. After the original, Heat Ultimate Elixir and Heat Rush also appeared on the market. In 2012, Beyonce launches the latest, more sensual than the previous ones: Midnight Heat. Midnight Heat exudes passion in the air and embodies the excitement of hot summer nights.

It opens with rich fruity flavors of plum from Armenia and star fruit. Orchid, black tulips and purple peony form the heart that gradually turns into the oriental base of warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli.

The fragrance is available as 15, 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

There’s been a whole load of drama over Lady Gaga’s sold out concert in Jakarta, with religious groups condemning the star’s provocative outfits and raunchy dance routines and saying they wanted the gig cancelled.
Four hours prior to the second night of her two-day concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. American Grammy winner singer-songwriter Lady Gaga tweeted:

“And don’t worry, if I get thrown in jail in Manila, Beyonce will just bail me out. I love it here!”

On the first night of her concert, neither the prayer vigil held against her just outside the SM Mall of Asia Arena nor the show being put under threat of cancellation – if it proved to be “offensive to morals and good customs” – stopped Lady Gaga from staging a performance where she sometimes simulated sex acts, “gunned” down people onstage, and mouthed expletives.
