What a night?! Beyoncé came through and shut shit down. Not only did she bring the Formation World Tour to the award show stage, she won 8 of her 11 award nomination. 

The night started with Beyoncé hitting the “red carpet” with Princess Blue Ivy, and later the mothers of police brutality victims. It was truly a beautiful sight!

Beyoncé went on to win her 8 awards, which include:

Best Pop Video – Formation
Best Choreography – Formation
Best Cinematography – Formation
Best Editing – Formation
Best Direction – Formation
Breakthrough Longform Video – LEMONADE
VIDEO OF THE YEAR – Formation

With these awards, Beyonce becomes the most awarded woman in VMA history.
