Beyonce’s Heat:Wild Orchid is an enticing, mouth-watering fragrance that emits a fierce, feminine energy. It both invites and intoxicates those who encounter it. At the heart of it all is the Butterfly Orchid, believed to have magical aphrodisiac qualities, which gives the scent its exotic signature. Rise is a perfume endorsed by Beyoncé and distributed through division Coty Beauty of manufacturer Coty, Inc. She collaborated with perfumer Loc Dong from the company International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) for creating the scent. Inspired by African-American author Maya Angelou and meant to showcase private sides of Beyoncé’s personal life, Rise was created as a woman’s fragrance.
It was released in February 2014 to various stores; a promotional poster and a commercial shot by English music video director Jake Nava were released the same month with the latter featuring Beyoncé surrounded by golden glitter. Upon their release, the perfume and the commercial were positively received by critics with Rise’s various scents and its feminist inspiration being particularly hailed. Rise features top notes of Italian bergamot orange, golden apricot and a basil sorbet middle notes of gold symphony orchid freesia blossom and jasminum sambac and base notes of autumn woods accord, cashmere musk and a vetiver extract.

| HEAT: THE MRS. CARTER WORLD TOUR
In April 2013, Beyoncé embarked her fourth concert tour, The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. In June 2013, it was announced that a limited edition of Heat, titled Heat: The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, would be released the same month, inspired by the tour. Speaking about the fragrance, Beyoncé said: “I love my music, I love performing and most of all I love and appreciate my fans. I wanted to give them a special remembrance of this tour and I created this scent to reflect the power, passion and playfulness I put into my performances.” The fragrance opens with mangosteen, black pepper and Açaí palm as its top notes and later continues with violet petals, Indian Sambac Jasmine and a Brassia Edua Loo orchid as its middle notes before finishing with bourbon vanilla, Australian sandalwood and vetiver as its base notes. Gaby Wilson of MTV noted that the ingredients introduced a lighter scent than her previous releases. According to Beyoncé’s official perfume website, the fragrance is “paying tribute to Beyoncé’s amazing momentous journey” and further “transport[s] you into Beyoncé’s world and the intensity of her shows. [It] will make you feel the power, passion and playfulness she gives to her fans.” It was also meant to celebrate Beyoncé’s accomplishments and her “historic life journey“.

| MIDNIGHT HEAT
In 2012, Beyonce launches the latest, more sensual than the previous ones Midnight Heat. Midnight Heat exudes passion in the air and embodies excitement of hot summer nights.
It opens with rich fruity flavors of plum from Armenia and star fruit. Orchid, black tulips and purple peony form the heart that gradually turns into the oriental base of warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli.
The fragrance is available as 15, 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Gillotin.
| PULSE SUMMER EDITION
Beyonce launches a new version of the original fragrance Pulse intended for summer – Pulse Summer Edition. The scent is described as fresh, playful, optimistic and upbeat summer time compliment to the original.

Its composition is floral – fruity with fresh sparkling top notes and creamy base. The top notes include icy mandarin, pear and pink pepper. The heart is exotic and floral, featuring ginger orchid, jasmine and orange blossom. The creamy base is composed of sapphire woods, musk and benzoin.
The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Pulse Summer Edition was launched in 2012.
Beyonce, in cooperation with the company Coty, presents her new fragrance Pulse in September 2011. Pulse is a citrus – floral – gourmand fragrance, dedicated to the favorite flower of the singer – orchid. This energetic composition portrays the excitement that she feels on stage.
The fragrance opens with sparkling top notes of pear blossom, frozen bergamot and accord of Blue Curacao liqueur. The heart features Bluebird orchid, for the first time used in a fragrance. There are also notes of delicate peony and intensive midnight blooming jasmine. The base is warm, sensual and irresistible, made with Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods.
The modern faceted bottle is designed to look like it’s upside down, while its blue colors evokes the fragrance inside. The nose behind this fragrance is Bruno Jovanovic.
| HEAT RUSH
Heat Rush is another edition to be created in collaboration with Coty Beauty. Perfumer who worked on the new fragrance is Honorine Blanc of Firmenich. The new version of Heat is envisaged to be the perfect companion to Heat, since Heat is ideal for night while Heat Rush will be great for daily walks and meetings. The focus does not lie on sexy notes but on elegance this time. Beyonce herself pays a lot of attention on creation of her perfumes and approaches them like writing a song. She hopes that women of all generations will find themselves in aromas of this fragrance, since it is young, fresh and less-serious scent.
Opening notes of Heat Rush start the composition with passion fruit sorbet, blood orange and Brazilian cherry. Its heart blooms with yellow tiger orchid, mango blossom and orange hibiscus, while a warm base closes with teak wood, honey amber and Rio sunset musk.
The fragrance is poured in an orange, glass flacon shaped as the original edition. Heat Rush hits the shelves in various sizes, as 15, 30, 50 and 100 ml. Its accompanying collection includes shimmering body cream and shower gel. Heat Rushwas launched in 2010.
| HEAT ULTIMATE ELIXIR
Heat Ultimate Elixir by Beyonce is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Heat Ultimate Elixir was launched in 2010. The fragrance features tonka bean, amber, vanilla, osmanthus, red vanill-orchid and cedar.
Heat is the first fragrance by Beyonce. Name of the fragrance was inspired by Beyonce’s tour and performances. Colour of flacon and liquid was chosen after Beyonce’s favourite colour – red, with a wish to look like fire with antique details.
Beyonce’s temperament was depicted through the whole concept of the fragrance, from name and design to composition created in cooperation with perfumers of the house of Givaudan – Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin. Top notes of Heat are decorated with red vanilla-orchid, magnolia, neroli and peach. A passionate heart offers honeysuckle, almond and musky cream, while a base finishes with sequoia wood, tonka and amber.
Even though Beyonce is advertising face of perfumes Diamonds Armani and True Star Tommy Hilfiger, she says that her first fragrance, Heat, represents herself. Her wish is that her first fragrance stands for everything that makes her and that she is content with the final product, without worrying about deadlines of work on the perfume. “This is my first fragrance and I want to be sure that I will love it forever! ” – stated Beyonce for wwd.
Fragrance Heat was created in an antique glass flacon, just like Beyonce wanted. She coloured it in red nuances which remind of flames transforming into burning orange. Fiery and sexy, just like her, the flacon is decorated with a discrete gold detail on neck of the flacon with engraved name of the fragrance. Assortment of Heat perfume includes 30, 50 and 100ml EDT, along with a 200 ml golden lotion.
