Do you remember Destiny’s Child show stopping opening performance at the 2005 World Music Awards? I most certainly do just like it was yesterday. Everything about this performance gave me so much life and still till this day! Where does one begin to clock the ways of everything amazing these girls did this eventful night? From the tight harmonies to Beyoncé and Michelle snapping at the end of “Survivor,” and to Beyoncé just catching the Holy Ghost at the end of the performance. Life was just given and the crowd was there to accept it. What’s so great about this performance is that you can compare it to a lot artist today and most couldn’t compete. After the premiere of “Life Is But A Dream”, Bey was photographed at the after party to celebrate with friends and family.

Beyonce is a fairly private person, but on Tuesday, she opened up about her reasons for letting the world in via her new HBO documentary, “Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream.”

“Mystique is very important… It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity — just as a woman — I think it’s important. But, at the same time, I felt like it was time for me to share my story because I’ve been through so much and I have so much to celebrate, so much to share,” Beyonce told Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle on the red carpet at the film’s premiere in New York City on Tuesday night. “And, I’ve always directed these little movies and now I have directed a film for HBO and I’m so proud.”

Beyonce admitted she was “nervous” to see the film at the screening, a project she had only ever seen with Jay-Z and her mother, Tina Knowles.
