Beyoncé will perform at this year’s Brit Awards, it has been confirmed.
James Corden – who will present tonight’s award ceremony for a record fifth time – confirmed that the US superstar will make an appearance on stage.
“There’s this weird thing with this year’s Brits where I’ve been – more than any other year – told things I can’t say,” Corden told BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball. “But I figure it’s the day…”
The star then turned to his PR and asked if he could reveal the news, before confirming: “I must be able to tell you? Beyoncé. Beyoncé is performing tonight.
“She’s performing a track she has never ever performed live before. Ever.”
The Brit Awards 2014 will take place at London’s O2 Arena this evening (February 19) and air on ITV from 8pm.
