The Billboard Hot 100 is officially “Drunk in Love.”

Fueled by significant gains in streams, on-demand plays and digital sales, the Beyonce single (which features husband Jay-Z) catapults eleven places to number two on the definitive weekly singles chart. Only Katy Perry’s smash “Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J),” which began its reign atop the chart last week, ranks higher.

In reaching number two, “Drunk” becomes Beyonce’s biggest hit since “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Best known for its iconic video (and Kanye West’s fondness for the video), “Ladies” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100…

Leveraging their star power to release new albums in unprecedented ways—Jay Z through Samsung and Beyoncé through iTunes—they instantly changed how the industry and fans thought about interacting with music. He gave his album away; she charged a premium price for hers. But they both used the element of surprise to restore the excitement that used to accompany a new release, before that impact…

The diva’s self-titled set could sell around 85,000 to 90,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Jan. 12, according to industry forecasters. If it returns to No. 1, it will mark the fourth non-consecutive week atop the list for “Beyonce.”

Meanwhile, the current chart champ, the soundtrack to Disney’s “Frozen” movie, will probably dip to No. 2 with around 75,000. The “Frozen” set stormed to No. 1 this past week on the chart, selling 165,000 copies…

The album has now sold 1.3 million in its first 17 days of release in the United States.

“Beyoncé” is the first album to spend three weeks at No. 1 since Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience” logged three straight frames atop the list (April 6-April 20, 2013). “Beyoncé” is the first album…

“Beyonce” sold 374,000 copies in the week ending Dec. 22 (down 39%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It bowed at No. 1 on the previous week’s chart, after only three days on sale, with 617,000 sold.

The album was released on an off-cycle Friday, Dec. 13. Its debut on the chart a week ago came from sales in the week ending Dec. 15.

Following the surprise debut of Beyonce’s new self-titled album — which sent social networks and the Twittersphere ablaze with chatter about the diva — she jumps to No. 1 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart this week.

The Social 50 ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, Myspace and Instagram.
