Four months after giving birth to twins, Beyoncé will make her long-awaited return to the stage for a concert with her husband, Tidal owner Jay-Z, to benefit those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, Us Weekly exclusively confirms.

The show will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, October 17. Several Roc Nation artists are expected to perform.

Beyoncé, 36, has been actively involved in relief efforts in the aftermath of the unprecedented, catastrophic hurricanes, which made landfall in late August and early September. She delivered an impassioned plea to donors in a video message that aired during the Hand in Hand telethon on September 12.

“During a time where it’s impossible to watch the news without seeing violence or racism in this country, just when you think it couldn’t possibly get worse, natural disasters take precious life, do massive damage and forever change lives, leaving behind contaminated water, flooded hospitals, schools and nursing homes,” she said in a pre-recorded message before urging fans to “come together in a collective effort to raise our voices, to help our communities, to lift our spirits and heal.”

The “Formation” singer also headed down to her hometown of Houston earlier this month to distribute food to those affected in the area. “This, today, is a celebration of survival,” she told evacuees at St. John’s Church. “Y’all are my family. Houston is my home. I thank God that y’all are safe, that your children are safe. The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life.

It’s been a year and a half since Beyoncé dropped the bombshell that is Lemonade, her second visual album where she bared her heartache over her husband Jay Z’s infidelity, and it may not be much longer until we receive a follow up. That is according to a recent interview with famed director Michel Gondry. The music video-turned-film director, who helped craft the visual identities of artists like Björk, Daft Punk, Radiohead, the White Stripes, Beck and more, revealed to La Presse that his list of upcoming projects include one “clip for a Beyoncé song.

Much to the sadness of the Bey Hive, though, Gondry didn’t reveal which one that is or if it’s part of a larger volume of work à la her 2013 self-titled opus and 2016’s Lemonade. Gondry did, however, share why the clip has yet to come out: “Unfortunately, it hasn’t been released because she had her twins,” he said, referencing Sir and Rumi, who were delivered on June 13, as Beyoncé later revealed in an iconic Instagram photo in which she held the pair while wearing a blue veil and floral dress by menswear designer Palomo Spain. “But the is finished and it’s very, very good, I think.” With those two parties involved, how could it be anything but?

Beyoncé has pledged to do her part to help Hurricane Harvey victims.
The Houston native released an exclusive statement Monday afternoon to the Chronicle regarding the devastating effects still being felt throughout the city.

My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help,” she said.

I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John’s in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can.

She only wants her pregnancy documented with carefully crafted images, apparently!

Beyonce and Jay Z enjoyed date night at Nobu Malibu yesterday evening, and they created quite the scene when they left the restaurant. Bodyguards and chauffeured SUV’s went out of their way to shield the pregnant singer’s baby bump from photographers, and either she was feeling self conscious about her changing shape, or she simply wants to be the only one to release snapshots of her unborn twins.

There’s a lot of speculation about the gender and due date of Queen Bey’s upcoming arrivals, but we still don’t have any concrete answers. Rumor has it that she’s expecting a boy and a girl, and they are due sometime in May to early June.

One thing that’s for sure is when the babies do make their big debut, they’re going to be kicking it in style in a $500K nursery!

Bey and Jay knocked out a wall between two bedrooms to create a master suite-size nursery inside their LA home. The twins will have matching cribs and rockers and designer sheets totaling $30,000, plus a $50,000 state-of-the-art sound system,” a source dished to Life & Style.

She commissioned a $20,000 mural on the ceiling, complete with glowing stars. It’s incredible. It’s the entire galaxy above the nursery,” the source added.

Beyonce, who is pregnant with twins, will not perform at Coachella this year, but will headline the festival in 2018.

In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said the pop star had to pull out of the famed festival under doctor’s orders.

“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the statement said. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

It was not clear who will perform in her absence. Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar will also headline the two-weekend festival in Indio, California. Radiohead will perform on April 14 and 21, and Lamar on April 16 and 23.

Beyonce was originally set to perform April 15 and 22. It would have marked her first time she performed at the festival, and she would have been the first female act to headline Coachella since Bjork in 2007.
